Stockport Choral Society (formerly The United Choirs of Reddish, later Reddish Choral Society) was established in 1973 when several local church choirs joined forces to perform Handel’s ‘Messiah’. The society continues to flourish, and now consists of around 35 members, directed by Phil Waddington, Organist and Choirmaster at Christ with All Saints’. The repertoire is varied; from madrigals to Abba, opera to show music, sacred to secular. A large scale Christmas Carol Service rounds off the year, to a packed audience. Concerts are performed at a variety of venues, including Christ with All Saints and there is a strong element on raising money for local charities.  Everybody is welcome; there is no audition. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings, between 7:30pm and 9:30pm  at CwAS. Please call Phil on 07821 307909, email pwaddington2@gmail.com, or just turn up for more information.
